Cable - Two Piece: Removal

  1. Remove the radio antenna mast.
    • Remove the radio antenna mast by turning it counterclockwise.

  2. Unsnap and remove the radio antenna base cap.

  3. Remove the screws.

  4. Remove the right hand wheel splash guard.
  5. CAUTION: Remove the electrical connector locators from the splash shield prior to removal.
    CAUTION: Disconnect the vacuum lines from the vacuum storage reservoir.
  6. Remove the splash shield.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the push-pin
    3. Remove the bolts.

  7. Remove the antenna lead-in cable.
    1. Open the glove box door.
    2. Release the tabs and lower the glove box to the full open position.
    3. Unclip the antenna lead-in cable wire clips.
    4. Disconnect the antenna lead-in cable.
    5. Pull the antenna lead-in cable through the hole and remove the remove the antenna lead-in cable.

  8. Remove the antenna assembly (18A984) through the wheel well.
