Removal & Installation: Condenser: Removal

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING.
- Raise and support vehicle. Drain cooling system. Disconnect lower transmission cooler line. See Fig 1. Disconnect lower radiator hose. Disconnect wiring harness from fan shroud. See Fig 2. Lower vehicle. Position relay box aside. See Fig 3.
- Position coolant reservoir hose aside. See Fig 4. Disconnect cooling fan electrical connector. See Fig 5. Position aside upper radiator hose. See Fig 6. Position aside upper transmission cooler line. Remove radiator bracket bolts. See Fig 7. Remove radiator assembly.
- Disconnect condenser to compressor line. See Fig 8. Disconnect condenser to auxiliary A/C line. See Fig 9. Remove left condenser bolt. See Fig 10. Remove right condenser bolt. Remove condenser. See Fig 11.
