Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor - 2.3L: Removal

- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the plug.
- Install the special tool and turn the crankshaft pulley bolt to position the number one cylinder at top dead center.
- Remove the CKP.
- Install an M6 bolt.
