Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve - 4.0L SOHC

Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve.
- Disconnect the vacuum line.
- Disconnect the EGR valve tube fitting.

Remove the EGR valve bolts and the EGR valve.
- Discard the gasket.

NOTE: The EGR valve sealing surfaces are soft metals.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Carefully clean the EGR valve sealing surfaces.
- Install a new EGR valve gasket.
