Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Vacuum Regulator Solenoid - 4.0L SOHC

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector and the vacuum lines from the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) vacuum regulator solenoid.

  3. Remove the retaining bolts and the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
