Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the left front inner fenderwell splash shield.

  2. Disconnect the coolant bypass hose from the routing clip.

  3. Pry the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve cap off the two tabs and position the PCV valve aside.

  4. Remove the bolts and the crankcase vent oil separator.

  5. NOTE: Clean the gasket mating surfaces.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
