Throttle Body

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
  3. Remove the bolt and the snow shield

  4. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.

  5. Disconnect the accelerator cable, the speed control cable and the return spring.

  6. Remove the bolts and the throttle body.

  7. If necessary, install a new throttle body gasket.
  8. If necessary, remove the TP sensor.

  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
