Fuel Injectors: Removal

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Release the fuel pressure. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
Remove the upper intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE 3.0L (2V) .
Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the fuel injectors.

Disconnect the fuel hose. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
Remove the fuel injection supply manifold.
- Remove the four bolts.
- Remove the fuel injection supply manifold and the fuel injectors as an assembly.

Remove the six fuel injectors from the fuel supply manifold.
- Remove and discard the fuel injector O-rings.
