Fuel Charging Wiring Harness: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Remove the upper intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE 3.0L (2V) .
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor, the water temperature indicator sender unit and the camshaft synchronizer electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector.
- Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the two transmission harness electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the powertrain control module (PCM) electrical connector.
- Remove the nut.
- Remove the stud bolt and the ground strap.
- Remove the engine control sensor wiring.
