Removal and Installation

- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Relieve the fuel pressure. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
- Disconnect the fuel injector connectors.
- Disconnect the fuel injector harness from the fuel injector supply manifold.
- Disconnect the fuel tube spring lock safety clip.
- Disconnect the fuel tube. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
- Remove the fuel injection supply manifold.
- Remove the bolts and the spacer insulators.
- Remove the manifold.
- Remove the fuel injectors.
- Remove the retaining clip.
- Remove the fuel injector.
- Install new O-ring seals.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION:
Use O-ring seals that are made of special fuel-resistance material. Use of ordinary O-ring seals can cause the fuel system to leak. Do not reuse the O-ring seals.
NOTE:
Lubricate the new O-ring seals with clean engine oil.
