Water Pump - 3.0L: Removal

- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING - 3.0L AND 4.0L .
- Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING .
- Remove the fan blade and the fan shroud. For additional information, refer to COOLING FAN SHROUD - 3.0L AND 4.0L .
- Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley.
- Disconnect the heater hose and the wiring harness anchor.
- Remove the nuts and detach the fuel tube bracket and the wiring harness bracket.
- Remove the stud bolts from the A/C compressor mounting bracket.
- Disconnect the lower radiator hose.
- Remove the bolts and position the bracket and compressor aside.
- Remove the bolts and remove the water pump.
- Clean the sealing surfaces.
