Removal and Installation

NOTE: The thermostat and thermostat housing are serviced as an assembly.
  1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING - 2.3L .
  2. Disconnect the coolant hose and the lower radiator hose.

  3. Remove the bolts and the thermostat housing.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
