Fan - Blade and Clutch, 2.3L

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
  2. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING .
  3. Using the special tool, loosen the mechanical fan nut.

  4. Remove the fan and clutch assembly.

  5. Remove the bolts.

  6. Separate the fan blade from the fan clutch.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
