Removal and Installation

- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Remove the air intake tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Disconnect the electric cooling fan electrical connector.
- Remove the bolts and position the power steering reservoir out of the way.
- Disconnect the transmission cooling tube from the radiator.
- Remove the right side cooling fan shroud mounting bolt and lift the shroud and electric cooling fan assembly from the vehicle.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

The fan shroud and electric cooling fan are serviced as an assembly.
