Removal and Installation

- With the vehicle in neutral, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the exhaust pipe-to-exhaust manifold nuts.
- Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) tube.
- Disconnect the differential pressure feedback EGR system from the EGR tube.
- Disconnect the EGR tube from the EGR valve and the exhaust manifold.
- Remove the retainers and the LH exhaust manifold.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Use new exhaust manifold gaskets and retaining nuts.
