Timing Chain: Installation

  1. Align the timing marks.

  2. Install the timing chain, the camshaft sprocket and the crankshaft sprocket as an assembly.

  3. Install the bolt.

  4. Install the engine front cover. For additional information, refer to ENGINE FRONT COVER .
  5. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
