Oil Pump: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the oil pan. For additional information, refer to OIL PAN - 4X2  or OIL PAN - 4x4 .
  3. Remove the bolt and the oil pump.

  4. Clean and inspect the oil pump assembly. For additional information, refer to ENGINE SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
