Oil Pan - 4x2: Removal

- Remove the flywheel or flexplate. For additional information, refer to GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS - CRANKSHAFT AND FLYWHEEL .
- Drain the engine oil.
- Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Remove the nuts from the engine mounts.
- Install the Lifting Eyes, the Three-Bar Engine Support and raise the engine 43 mm (1.72 in).
- Install blocks between the engine mounts and the support brackets.
- Remove the bolts and the oil pan.
- Discard the gasket.
