In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - 5R44E & 5R55E .
  2. Remove the bolts and the flexplate.
    • Inspect the flexplate for cracks or other damage. Install a new flexplate if necessary.
