Exhaust Manifold RH: Installation

  1. Position the exhaust manifold gasket and the exhaust manifold.
  2. Install the bolts and the nuts.
    • Tighten in the sequence shown in two stages.
    • Stage 1: Tighten to 10 N.m (8 lb-ft).
    • Stage 2: Tighten to 23 N.m (17 lb-ft).

  3. Install the exhaust flange nuts.

  4. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
