Cylinder Head: Assembly

  1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly.
    • Lubricate the valve stem and the valve stem seal with clean engine oil.
    • Tighten the exhaust manifold in the sequence shown in two stages.
      • Stage 1: Tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb-in).
      • Stage 2: Tighten to 23 N.m (17 lb-ft).
