Removal and Installation

Remove the oil level indicator (6750) and the upper retaining bolt.

Raise the vehicle on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Remove the oil level indicator tube (6754).
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the oil level indicator tube.

Remove the O-ring from the indicator ring.

NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring before installation of the indicator tube.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
