Pump - CIII 4.0L: Removal

- Remove the engine cooling fan. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
- Loosen the power steering pump pulley bolts.
- Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise and remove the belt from the power steering pump pulley. For additional information, refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING .
- Remove the power steering pump pulley.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the power steering pump pulley.
- Disconnect the power steering return line hose at the power steering fluid reservoir.
- Allow the system to drain.
- Disconnect the power steering pressure hose from the power steering pump.
- Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
- Compress and move the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose clamp.
- Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
- Remove the power steering pump.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the power steering pump.
