Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rotor shield. Refer to FRONT DRIVE AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL - DANA 35 .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  3. Unclip the wire from the vehicle frame.

  4. Remove the bolt.

  5. NOTE: Plug the sensor mount opening and thoroughly clean the mounting surface. Apply High Temperature 4x4 Front Axle and Wheel Bearing Grease E8TZ-19590-A meeting Ford Specification ESA-M1C198-A.
  6. Remove the front wheel speed sensor.
    1. Remove the bolt and the sensor.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
