To remove the individual components, only carry out the listed steps.

Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Mark the hood latch prior to removal of the bolts.

Item 2: Hood Latch Installation Note

When a new hood latch is installed, latch adjustment must be checked to make sure the latch was installed correctly.
