Removal And Installation: Mouldings

  1. To remove individual components, only carry out the following steps.
    COMPONENTS REMOVING STEPS

    Component Steps
    Rocker moulding 1-4
    Windshield moulding 5-7
    Front door moulding 8
    Rear door moulding 9
    Front door window trim moulding module 10-12
    Rear door window trim moulding module 13-15
  2. View 1 of 3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 4: Rocker Moulding Removal Note 

  1. Discard the retaining cups and install new cups during installation.

Item 8: Front Door Moulding Removal Note 

  1. The moulding is held in place with double sided foam tape.

Item 9: Rear Door Moulding Removal Note 

  1. The moulding is held in place with double sided foam tape.

Item 10: Screws Removal Note 

  1. Remove the front door window glass. For additional information, refer to DOOR WINDOW GLASS  - Front.
  2. Remove the exterior mirror. For additional information, refer to EXTERIOR MIRROR .
  3. Position the glass run seal aside to access the retaining screws.

Item 11: Double Sided Foam Tape Removal Note 

  1. Use a suitable tool to cut the double sided foam tape.

Item 13: Screws Removal Note 

  1. Remove the front door window glass. For additional information, refer to DOOR WINDOW GLASS - REAR .
  2. Position the glass run seal aside to access the retaining screws.

Item 15: Rear Door Window Trim Moulding Assembly Removal Note 

  1. Release the trim moulding assembly at the upper front to clear the door frame, rotating the assembly rearward and remove it from the door.

Item 10: Screws Installation Note 

  1. Make sure the glass run seal is fully seated after the screws are installed.

Item 11: Double Sided Foam Tape Installation Note 

  1. Make sure to clean the surface properly prior to applying the double sided foam tape.

Item 13: Screws Installation Note 

  1. Make sure the glass run seal is fully seated after the screws are installed.

Item 15: Rear Door Window Trim Moulding Assembly Installation Note 

  1. Remove the tab and liner from the module after the assembly has been positioned in the door.
