Removal And Installation: Headliner: Material

MATERIAL

Item Specification
Headliner Adhesive TA-13 WSS-M2G355-B
  1. Remove both front seats. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
  2. Disconnect the interior mirror electrical connector.
  3. If equipped, remove the rain sensor cover and disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the windshield side garnish panels. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM PANELS .
  5. Remove the upper B-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM PANELS .
  6. Position the quarter trim panels aside.

    To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps: 

    PART STEPS SPECIFICATION

    Part Steps
    Overhead console 3
    Sunvisor 5-7
    Passenger assist handle 8-10
  7. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 3: Overhead Console Removal Note 

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Item 7: Sun Visor Removal Note 

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Item 10: Passenger Assist Handle Removal Note 

  1. If required, disconnect the electrical connector(s).

Item 12: Headliner Removal Note 

  1. For vehicles without a roof opening panel, use a plastic scraper to detach the headliner from the roof.

Item 12: Headliner Installation Note 

CAUTION: Folding the headliner will result in damage to the headliner.
  1. Carefully position the headliner in the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Adhesive is required for vehicles without a roof opening panel.

  3. Apply headliner adhesive in a triangular pattern to the center of the headliner.
