Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Transceiver

Disconnect the battery.
Remove the instrument cluster finish panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM .
Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Item 1: Ignition Cylinder Removal Note

Key in ON position.
Push the tab on the left side of the cylinder housing to release the cylinder.

Item 3: Wiring Harness Connector Removal Note

Position the transceiver ring toward the steering column to access the connector.
