Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Transceiver

  1. Disconnect the battery.
  2. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM .
  3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Item 1: Ignition Cylinder Removal Note 

  1. Key in ON position.
  2. Push the tab on the left side of the cylinder housing to release the cylinder.

Item 3: Wiring Harness Connector Removal Note 

  1. Position the transceiver ring toward the steering column to access the connector.
