The anti-theft system does not operate correctly - the vehicle cranks but indicator flashes rapidly at key ON	Incorrect PCM calibration. Powertrain control module. Circuitry.	Go To PINPOINT TEST B: THE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY - THE VEHICLE CRANKS BUT INDICATOR FLASHES RAPIDLY AT KEY ON .
The vehicle does not start - theft indicator does not prove out and flashes rapidly	SCP not connected/failure. Powertrain control module. Instrument cluster. Passive anti-theft system transceiver. Unprogrammed key.	Go To PINPOINT TEST K: THE VEHICLE DOES NOT START - THEFT INDICATOR DOES NOT PROVE OUT AND FLASHES RAPIDLY .
The vehicle does not start - theft indicator proves out for three seconds as normal, vehicle does not crank	Starter circuit.	CARRY OUT the starter diagnostics. REFER to INTAKE AIR, FUEL CHARGING, STARTING & ENGINE ELECTRONICS - 3.0L (4V) - LS or INTAKE AIR, FUEL CHARGING, STARTING & ENGINE ELECTRONICS - 3.9L - LS .
The vehicle does not start - theft indicator proves out for three seconds as normal but the engine does not remain running	Powertrain concern.	CARRY OUT powertrain diagnostics. REFER to the INTRODUCTION article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE .
