High Mounted Stoplamp

CAUTION:
Do not excessively lower the rear portion of the headliner. This can create creases o kinks in the headliner.
- Remove the rear seat bolsters. For additional information, Refer to SEATING .
- Position the rear quarter trim panels aside.
- Remove the rear passenger assist handles.
- Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Item 4: Fog Lamp Bulb Removal Note
WARNING:
The halogen bulb contains gas under pressure. The bulb may shatter if the glass envelope is scratched or if the bulb is dropped. Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass envelope. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
- The fog lamp bulb should not be removed from the fog lamp until just before a new bulb is installed. Removing the bulb for an extended period of time may affect fog lamp performance. Contaminants may enter the fog lamp where they can settle on the lens and reflector. Never turn on the fog lamps with the bulb removed.
