Air Cleaner Assembly

Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table. To remove individual components, carry out only the listed steps

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 8: Air Cleaner Cover Removal Note

NOTE: The air cleaner assembly must be removed to service the air filter element.

Release the snaps and separate the air cleaner cover from the air cleaner tray.

Item 8: Air Cleaner Cover Installation Note

NOTE: No tools are needed to install the air cleaner cover. Installation should be carried out using hands only.

Use the five alignment tabs to correctly align the air cleaner cover to the air cleaner tray.
