Knock Sensor (KS)

Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Remove the lower intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .
Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table. See Fig 1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Release the KS harness from the retaining clip before removing the KS.

Attach the KS harness to the retaining clip after installing KS.
