Rear Brake Caliper: Disassembly

  1. Drain brake fluid from caliper.
  2. Secure caliper in vise.
  3. Turn piston counterclockwise using Rear Caliper Piston Adjuster (T75P-2588-B) or equivalent. See Fig 1 .
  4. Remove piston from bore.
  5. Remove and discard dust boot and seal from caliper bore.
