Front Brake Caliper: Disassembly

  1. Drain remaining brake fluid from caliper.
  2. Place block of wood between caliper bridge and caliper pistons. See Fig 1 .
  3. Apply low air pressure to fluid port in caliper to remove pistons.
  4. Remove and discard piston seals and boots. See Figure .
  5. Remove and discard bleed screw and cap.
