Brake Pedal

- Remove the steering column. For additional information, refer to STEERING SYSTEM .
- Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Item 1: Speed Control Deactivation Switch Removal Note
- Remove the speed control deactivation switch. For additional information, refer to SPEED CONTROL .
Item 2: Stoplamp Switch Removal Note
- Remove the stoplamp switch. For additional information, refer to EXTERIOR LIGHTING .
Item 5: Brake Pedal Pin/Brake Booster Input Shaft Removal Note
- Disconnect the brake pedal pin from the brake booster input shaft.
- Remove the brake pedal pin clip.
- Disconnect the booster input shaft from the brake pedal pin.
Item 11: Adjustable Pedal Motor Removal Note
- Disconnect the accelerator pedal cable from the adjustable pedal motor.
