Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) Switch C3218

C3218 CONNECTOR PINS REFERENCE

Pin Number(s) Circuit Designation/Description Normal Condition/Measurement
1 64S-CG15 (BU/WH) switch illumination power Greater than 10 volts with headlamp switch ON.
4 10-CG15 (GY/VT) EPB module to EPB switch release circuit EPB module output to EPB switch: open - 4.0 volts/closed - 2.5 volts.
5 9-CG15 (BN/BU) EPB switch ground Continuity between EPB switch and Hall-effect sensor, less than 5 ohms resistance to ground.
6 31S-CG14 (BK/GN) yellow EPB indicator lamp ground Continuity between switch and EPB module, less than 5 ohms resistance to ground (supplied by EPB module) when switch is illuminated.
7 75-CG14 (YE/GN) yellow EPB indicator lamp power Power supplied from BJB fuse 12 (5A), hot at all times.
8 8-CG15 (WH/BU) EPB module to EPB switch apply circuit EPB module output to EPB switch: open - 4.0 volts/closed - 2.5 volts.
