C4205B CONNECTOR PINS REFERENCE

Pin Number(s) Circuit Designation/Description Normal Condition/Measurement
2 31S-CG14 (BK/GN) yellow EPB indicator lamp ground Continuity between switch and EPB module, less than 5 ohms resistance to ground (supplied by EPB module) when switch is illuminated.
4 8-GC20 (WH/VT) Hall-effect signal Voltage varies directly with EPB actuator rotation, between 0 and 4.4 volts.
5 8-CG15 (WH/BU) EPB module to EPB switch apply circuit EPB module output to EPB switch: open - 4.0 volts/closed - 2.5 volts.
6 10-CG15 (GY/VT) EPB module to EPB switch release circuit EPB module output to EPB switch: open - 4.0 volts/closed - 2.5 volts.
10 7-CG20 (YE/VT) Hall-effect sensor power Approximately 2 volts below battery voltage, output from EPB module to EPB sensor.
12 9-CG20 (BN/WH) Hall-effect sensor and switch ground 0 voltage, less than 5 ohms resistance to ground (supplied by EPB module).
