Trim Panel - Quarter, Regular Cab: Removal

  1. Remove the scuff plate.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the scuff plate.

  2. On RH quarter trim panel, remove the jack handle carrier cover.
  3. On RH quarter trim panel, remove the jack handle carrier.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the jack handle carrier.

  4. On LH quarter trim panel, remove the package tray mat.
  5. On LH quarter trim panel, remove the package tray.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the package tray.

  6. NOTE: If the safety belt guide cover is damaged or if it does not remain closed, install a new cover.
    NOTE: Safety belt guide cover shown removed for clarity.

  7. From behind the front safety belt guide cover, release the retaining tab and open the cover.
  8. Remove the nut and safety belt guide.

  9. Disconnect the safety belt anchor.
    1. Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the bolt.
    2. Disconnect the safety belt anchor.

  10. Reposition the quarter trim panel.
    1. Remove the pin-type retainers.
    2. Reposition the quarter trim panel.

  11. Disconnect the radio speaker electrical connector.

  12. Lower the rear of the A-pillar moulding to remove the quarter trim panel.

  13. Remove the quarter trim panel.
    • Feed the safety belt webbing through the quarter trim panel.
