Removal & Installation

Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING & BLEEDING - 2.3L .
Remove the drive belt. For additional information, refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING .
Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley.

NOTE: Lubricate the water pump O-ring, with clean coolant.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
