Radiator - 2.3L: Removal

  1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING & BLEEDING - 2.3L .
  2. Disconnect the coolant overflow hose from the radiator, position the hose away from the radiator.

  3. Disconnect the upper radiator hose.

  4. Remove the cooling fan and shroud. For additional information, refer to COOLING FAN MOTOR & SHROUD - 2.3L .
  5. Disconnect the lower radiator hose.

  6. Remove the bolts, tilt the radiator back and lift it directly upward.

  7. Remove the three pushpins and the plastic cap from the top of the radiator channel.
