Heater Hose Coupling: Installation

- Clean tubes and lubricate with MERPOL® meeting Ford specification ESE-M99B144-B or plain water. Install a new coupling retainer, spacer and lubricated "O" ring seals into quick disconnect coupling housing. See Fig 1.
- Push heater hose with a quick disconnect coupling onto tube. Make sure coupling is fully engaged by lightly pulling on heater hose.
