Block Heater - 7.3L Diesel: Removal

  1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING  .
  2. Release the retaining clip, and disconnect the electrical connector from the block heater.

  3. Loosen and remove block heater unit from the engine oil cooler.
