Crankshaft Main Bearing Journal - Diameter

  1. Measure each of the crankshaft main bearing journal diameters in at least 2 directions.
    • For 2.0L Zetec engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 2.0L ZETEC . For 3.0L (4V) engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .
    • If out of specification, install new components as necessary. For 2.0L Zetec engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 2.0L ZETEC . For 3.0L (4V) engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .
