Removal and Installation

  1. Position the boot aside.

  2. Remove and discard the pinch bolt/nut and disconnect the steering column shaft from the flexible coupling.

  3. Remove the left hand front tire.
  4. Remove the steering column shaft pin.

  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Remove the steering column shaft.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
