    NOTE: The one-way clutch should only rotate in a clockwise direction.
  1. Check the one-way clutch.
    1. Using the special tool, prevent the one-way bearing clutch from rotating.
    2. Attempt to rotate the torque converter one-way clutch in both directions.

  2. If the one-way clutch rotates in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions, install a new torque converter.
