Shift Concerns: Soft/Slipping 1-2 Shift (Automatic)

SHIFT CONCERNS: SOFT/SLIPPING 1-2 SHIFT (AUTOMATIC) SPECIFICATION

221- ELECTRICAL ROUTINE 
  • No electrical concerns
  
321- HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL ROUTINE 
Main Control Valve Body 
  • Bolts out of torque specification
  • Tighten bolts to specification.
  • Gaskets and separator plate-damaged, off location
  • Inspect gaskets for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Solenoid valves, springs, clips-loose, stuck, missing, incorrectly assembled
  • Inspect. Install new components as necessary.
2-4 Band 
  • Band loose or incorrectly adjusted.
  • Inspect. Adjust as necessary.
2-4 Servo Piston Assembly 
  • Piston seals, springs-damaged, missing
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
1-2 Accumulator Assembly 
  • Piston, spring, bore-damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
