SHIFT CONCERNS: HARSH 3-2 SHIFT (AUTOMATIC) SPECIFICATION

231 - ELECTRICAL ROUTINE 
No electrical concerns 
331- HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL ROUTINE 
Main Control Valve Body 
  • Bolts out of torque specification
  • Tighten bolts to specification.
  • Gaskets and separator plate-damaged, off location
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
3-4 Clutch Assembly 
  • Seals-damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Piston-damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Friction Plates-damaged, worn
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Return Spring-damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Dish Plate-damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
2-4 Band 
  • Damaged, worn, incorrectly assembled
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Friction material-worn or damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
2-4 Servo Assembly 
  • Servo Piston-stuck, damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Piston Seals-damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Springs-damaged, missing
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
  • Rod or Bore-damaged
  • Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
