240- ELECTRICAL ROUTINE 
  • No electrical concerns
 
340- HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL ROUTINE 
For noises/vibrations that change with engine speed 
  • Converter components
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as required.
 
  • Fluid level (low)-pump cavitation
 
  • Pump assembly
  • Engine drive accessories
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as required.
  • Flywheel
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as required.
For noises/vibrations that change with vehicle speed: 
  • Engine mounts-loose or damaged
  • Locate source of disturbance. Install new components as necessary.
  • Driveline concerns:
  • Halfshaft shudder
  • CV joints
  • Suspension
  • Modifications
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as required.
  • Output/Halfshaft splines worn or damaged
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as required.
Other noises/vibrations 
  • Main control valve body-valve resonance
  • Locate source of disturbance. Install new components as necessary.
  • Shift cable-vibration, grounding
  • Locate source of disturbance. Install new components as necessary.
  • Fluid cooler tubes grounding
  • Locate source of disturbance. Install new components as necessary.
  • Anti-Lock brake system (ABS)
  • Refer to ANTI-LOCK CONTROL .
  • Power steering pump
  • Refer to POWER STEERING .
