Inspection and Verification

- Verify the customer concern by operating the power exterior rear view mirrors.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage. Refer to the following chart:Torque Specifications

- Is windshield-mounted.
- Is a manual hand-set day/night mirror.
The exterior rear view mirrors:
- Are controlled manually or by optional power controls.
- Are of a foldaway design.
For diagnosis of the exterior mirror courtesy lamps, refer to EXTERIOR LIGHTING .
- Verify components or systems related to the fuse for correct operation. If the components or systems are not operating correctly, the fuse(s), fuse feed circuits or fuse load side circuit(s) may be faulty.
