Exhaust Manifold - Right: Installation

  1. Apply anti-seize compound to the exhaust manifold bolt threads.
  2. Install the exhaust manifold and the eight retaining bolts.

  3. Connect the exhaust back-pressure line to the right exhaust manifold.

  4. Raise and support the vehicle.
  5. Install the two nuts and bolts retaining the turbocharger exhaust inlet pipe to the exhaust manifold.

  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Install the oil level indicator tube and retaining screw.
  8. Install the air cleaner.
  9. Install the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  10. Reconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
